Beginners classes

Do you wish your dog would walk a bit nicer, greet a bit calmer or just… settle down? This class will give you skills to achieve a more focused dog! No pre-requisites required. Perfect for young dogs, rescues or as a refresher!

Our Beginner's Class is a great starting point for dogs of any age who are ready to work on basic cues such as: sit, down, stay, leave-it, come and walking nicely on the leash. We also work on impulse control and manners around people so you can take your dog out to the local bar in the knowledge they can settle. Class is full of natural distractions, so even if your dog knows a few of these already, it is a great environment to work in to increase difficulty. This class is also a great way to strengthen the bond between you and your dog!

Teach and strengthen your dog’s essential basic manners skills while learning to add in challenges such as distance, distraction and duration.

• Timing & Rewards
• Cues and markers
• Leave it
• Sit / Stay
• Down
• Come
• Walking nicely on the leash
• Polite Greetings 

Classes are held on Monday mornings and Thursday evenings at our Training School in Little Weeds, Nerja (behind the industrial estate near Lidl). All our courses are great value for money at only €60 inc. IVA for 4 x weekly 60 minute classes. They also include printed class notes and materials that you can take home to share with friends and family.
